Hi everyone! My share for today is a birthday card I made for a friend of my Bubblegum Paper. I didn't want to post it until I'm sure she got it, so here goes! I know she likes elephants and this stamp set from My Favorite Things Adorable Elephants was just screaming her name.
I have to take a better picture somehow. Been trying to figure out how to adjust the lights on my makeshift 'studio' and somehow still can't get it right. I colored the elephant and balloons with Zig clean color brush on water color paper, and put liquid gloss on the balloons after it dried. I embellished with some sequins just to add some pop to it.
It's CAS and just Bubblegum Paper's type I think. :)
Hope you had a blast on your birthday!

A Girl Loves Macarons
Hi everyone! My second birthday card went to my co-worker who is also my BFF at work. Of all the people I've given cards to, be it birthday or just anything goes, she appreciates it the most. She's like my forever cheerleader, and she constantly picks me up when I'm down. I also learn a lot of life hacks from her, and when she's not at work, it just feels a bit lonely because she is my ray of sunshine.
I used Stamping Bella's Monique Loves Macarons. The background papers are from Echo Park's Birthday Wishes paper pack. That reminds me I don't own much of birthday papers. But I love this paper pack as I've used it in so many different occasions. Image is colored with Copics, and unfortunately I don't remember the colors I've used again. I mostly color as I ago, and that probably explains my poor color coordination too. I don't usually plan what colors to use.
Happy Birthday my friend! I know you loved it!

Daisy Bouquet Birthday Card
Hi everyone! Back today for another share. This time I made a more conservative birthday card for a good friend/co-worker of mine whom I consider like a very dear aunt. She's been there for me ever since I started with the company, and truth be told is kind of like a 2nd mom to me.
I used Taylored Expression's Daisy Bouquet, and colored them with Copics. Background paper is Lawn Fawn and scallop die cut background is from Sizzix.
I wanted the card to look clean and simple, conservative, yet a bit colorful.
Happy Birthday to you!!

Birthday Anya
Hi everyone! I'm back! I spent pretty much most of July traveling and since getting back have been so busy at work. Between jet lag and just being immersed in work the last 3 weeks, I've had 0 time to do what I love. I have this one card that I made before I left for my trip though, and I'm glad I held back sharing it. Or else it will take another couple of weeks before I get to post again.
I'm just trying to get back to my groove, so please bear with me. I have 6 cards lined up to do. August seems to be a big birthday month and I can't imagine even finishing all 6 in 1 weekend, but I will try my best.
Today I'm sharing this birthday card I made for one my daughter's daycare teacher. I used Birthday Anya (3), and forgive me I seem to have lost the Copic colors I used. The pink background papers are Cotton Candy (retired) from Close to My Heart, and the patterned paper is from Echo Park Birthday Wishes pad. The circle die cut is MFT's Die-Namics Circled Stitched Frames, and poured a handful of mixed colored sequins.
I so missed crafting, and coloring! I'm in for a lot of practice again being away for so long.
Here's to hoping I get back on the saddle soon and quick!
Have a blessed weekend everyone!
