Miracle of Christmas Cards

Hello everyone! So it's 4 more days till Christmas, and I'm pretty sure most of you have already mailed out your Christmas card by now. Well, I'm happy to let you know that I made the cut too (I hope). I've finally mailed out all the cards and I'm officially done making Christmas cards!

So here I'm sharing some of the cards I made. I love CTMH's White Pines paper. Like I mentioned on my previous post, it's just so festive, either side of this B&T paper I was able to use to make different card styles.

I used a retired stamp set to stamp the sentiment and Christmas Tree. I believe it's CC1015 Holiday Magic. Love how classy the tree looks.

This 2nd card below uses the stamp set D1656 Miracle of Christmas. I love all the cute animals in that stamp set. I made another version using the reindeer too.

Here's a complete image of the stamp set.

Few more days left and it's Christmas. I'll keep posting the remaining cards I've made but I'll be moving on to baking holiday cookies in the next few days! Can't wait for some time out from work! Hope everyone's as excited as I am to celebrate Christmas!

Happy Holidays!

Heartfelt Creations

I attended 2 workshops from Heartfelt Creations last week at the Scrapbook Expo. It has been the best workshop I've ever attended at any Scrapbook Expos. I took the Arianna Blooms workshop where we did 3 cards. They taught us techniques on how to roll over the petals to make the flowers pop. The glitter came last, but I chose not to apply mine during the workshop and instead took it home to finish.

Here are the 3 cards we made:

This uses the Arianna Blooms collection. The flowers are from Arianna Blooms Cling Stamp set, the leaves are from the Arianna Vines Cling Stamp set.

The other class I took was the Angel Kissed Vellum Card Class. It was flowers and butterflies on vellum, and they teach you how to color and roll it too, since vellum is a more delicate paper, different techniques are applied.

Here are the 3 cards we made. The flowers and birds are supposed to be more popped, but since I did not bring a container to hold these, it got crushed with all my other buys that day. I placed them in my backpack, and it just got squished. It's hard to re-shape them when I got home since they're Vellum and they easily tear, I tried to redo it as much as I can.

These cards used the Botanical Rose Cling Stamp set, Birds and Blooms collection, and Decorative Leafy Frame die.

Don't you just love it? If you follow my blog you know I'm a big fan of floral stamps and dies, and Heartfelt Creations is just my kind of thing. They are expensive, but if you attend the class, they give you a coupon for a free stamp set up to a value of $19.99, which is a good deal considering the class cost $27 when you pre-register.

I really enjoyed this class and look forward to attending more of their workshops in the future!

Enjoy!

Heartstrings

Valentine's Day has come and gone, and I'm still stuck on this beautiful Heartstrings paper! I created 12 different kinds of cards using the Heartstrings Workshop on The Go. I love how versatile 1 paper can go, and how many different kinds of designs you can come up with.

Here's the additional stamp set I used.

C1604 Forever In My Heart
The Heartstrings line and the stamp set is only available until end of March as part of Seasonal Expressions 1, so if you want it now's your last chance to get your hands on them!

Fall Pathfinding Workshop

Fall is here and my workshop is finally created and completed! You've seen my card workshop portion before, and now here's the scrapbook layout portion of it.

This workshop uses the Pathfinding Scrapbooking WOTG. To make this 2-page layout, the cost is $15 and everything comes pre-cut and pre-stamped.

Big thanks to Sandie's team member Angela for this inspiration. They got me so pumped up, and tremendously helped me move forward to complete this month's workshop.

Here's what the entire Workshop On The Go looks like. Purchasing the entire WOTG can make you 4 pages and includes a stamp set and embellishments to add to your layout.

For those interested in the card workshop, below is what you'll be making. This card workshop consists of 3 cards and cost $12. Everything comes pre cut and pre stamped.

Here's what the entire Pathfinding Cardmaking Workshop On The Go kit looks like. This kit can make 15 cards and features 3 card styles. It also comes with a stamp set, shimmer trim and embellishments.

If you wish to purchase both the scrapbook layout and the 3 cards, it will be $25 total.

I will be hosting a workshop locally on Saturday, October 25 from 1-4pm. If you're interested please send me an email and I'll send location details. Last day to register is October 19.

I can also mail out the kits if attending locally is not an option.

Thank you!

Fall Cards Using Pathfinding

Fall is just around the corner (at least for us here in SoCal), and I can't wait! Weather's been way too hot I hope Fall comes soon.

Here's a sneak peek of my workshop for October. I made 3 cards using Pathfinding Cardmaking Workshop on the Go. The whole kit can make 15 cards out of these 3 designs. I did my own version, with some tweaking the design that came with the kit.

Here's a close up look of each card. This has got to be my favorite I think. I love the different mix of colors and how 'Fall' it looks like!

I am so loving the woodgrain stamp that comes with this kit. Isn't that just adorable? You can use it as a full card background too. I will have to do that some time.

My third card's inspiration is from the Wishes book I believe.

The whole kit costs $24.95 and can make you 15 cards from 3 designs. If you wish to purchase the kit, click here. I will be including this for my October workshop so stay tuned for details! If you can't wait, leave a comment or email me and I can send this card workshop first.

Thanks!

September - Scaredy Cat Workshop

Halloween is just around the corner and I thought I'd get started on Halloween projects. For this month's workshop, I've created 1 treat box, 2 cards and 1 home decoration item. All of these uses the Scaredy Cat paper pack.

I used 4 stamp sets to create everything in this project. I love all these Halloween themed stamps. I used B1460 Trick or Treat Sweets, D1605 Halloween Greetings, B1453 Frightfully Fun and  C1522 Creepy Creatures.

Here's a closer look of the projects individually.

This workshop costs $20. Papers in the kit will come pre-cut and images are pre-stamped. If you wish to buy the stamps to create these projects separately, shop now at shabbychiccrafting.ctmh.com or simply click on the stamp names described above.

Anything can be customized, so if you wish to special order anything from this workshop, please feel free to leave a comment or send me an email at shabbychiccrafting@gmail.com

Thanks so much!

August - Chalk It Up Workshop

I am so excited to finally finish my projects for this month's card workshop! I am using Chalk It Up and made 3 cards using that paper. I also made a 4th card exclusively using this month's Stamp of the Month - What A Hoot.

This card uses the new stamp set Teacher Appreciation, teal shimmer trim, white enamel stars and the new black stripe twill ribbon.

This is a 5x7 card using the new stamp set Great Job. I colored the image using ShinHan markers and cut out some of the stars and mounted it using foam tape. The background is one of many designs from Chalk It Up Picture My Life kit.

This card requires no stamping at all. It highlights another design from the Chalk It Up Picture My Life set and simply embellished with the new black striped twill ribbon. I really really love this ribbon. It looks so classy!!

And last but not the least, a chevron themed card featuring this month's SOTM - What A Hoot. I used the black paper fundamentals chevron design, layered it with chevron embossed paper, and decorated the card using most of the images from the stamp set. I colored using ShinHan, and sponged the sentiment with a mix of orange and black inks.

This card workshop costs $15 for all 4 cards. If you choose to only get the Chalk It Up themed cards, it will be $12. Kits will be pre-cut and pre-stamped. If you wish to buy the stamp sets and markers, shop now at shabbychiccrafting.ctmh.com. I reserve the right to switch up the PML cards since each kit comes with only 2-3 of each design.

If you wish to customize, please feel free to leave a comment or email me at shabbychiccrafting@gmail.com.

Thanks so much!
